The long term consequences of Israel's Mediterranean Massacre
Israel had one friend in the Muslim world and that was Turkey, but not any more after yesterday's Mediterranean massacre that saw the Israeli forces butcher at least 19 crew members of a humanitarian taskforce bound for Gaza. Especially with at least six of the dead being Turks, the country is leading the demands for sanctions to be applied against Israel.

It won't happen of course, not yet at any rate. However, sooner rather than later the ambassadors will start to be withdrawn from that rancid little shithole that squats like a deformed and poisonous dwarf between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea. Sanctions will be piecemeal at first but public pressure will increase for them to be tightened, just as they were against South Africa. The nooses will tighten around the Europeans' necks and many will start to leave for pastures new. Eventually the Arabs will see their chance and put an end to this interloper once and for all.

The world will carry on turning, just as it did after the end of French Algeria and British Rhodesia. Nobody will give a shit as another fruit is plucked from imperialism's tree.

I don't think Turkey has been much of a friend to Israel recently. A friend would not allow homegrown commie nutcases to sail off and break the blockade of an enemy of Israel. The Jewish State can get by just fine without the support of the Turks. Any more convoys and Israel should just organize a few "convoys" in support of the PKK. Not only would Turkey suffer, but so would Syria and Iran -- result!

Only in your fucking dreams is this purely about Turkey. What we have seen is one of those Sharpeville moments and sooner or later that shithole of a country will be sanctioned to shit. The fucking ragheads can deal with anyone left.

You reckon? You honestly believe this is a greater provocation than, hmm let me see, the demolition of half of Lebanon in 2006? The flattening of Hamastan in 2008? A few commie "peaceniks" on a boat?

I think you've lost your sense of proportion, Exile. If weeks of bombardment by the IDF won't provoke the so-called "world community" into Israel's "sanctioning to shit", then I don't think this incident is going to do anything at all. It will be old news in a week.

Anyhow, considering your preferred scenario of the Arabs dealing with whatever survives of a Jewish State, what do you recommend they use? Zyklon B or a simple bullet in the back of the head?

Do like the Africans did in Zimbabwe. Dogshit like that are all about feathering their own nests and once that cannot be done they just fuck off.

Did you foul your nest in Mexico, then?

I can't see Zimbabwe being much of a draw for the intelligent Arab. Seems like more of the living vicariously you lefties like to indulge in from the comfort of your imperialist armchairs.
