American attack on Iran may be close at hand
It is being reported from Holland that the Dutch secret services withdrew an agent from Iran who was trying to infiltrate the Iranian weapons industry. The theory is that he was withdrawn because the Americans are likely to attack Iran "within weeks".
It has always been assumed that the USA would only launch an attack this year if Barak Obama won the November elections. If John McCain was elected, then the Iranian issues would be left for him to sort out.
The problem here is that the elections are still two months away, yet the Dutch have withdrawn their team now. That might suggest that Bush is planning to attack before November.
This is all speculation of course, but it is troubling speculation.
