Fate of collaborators unclear as British cut and run from Basra Palace
'Morning all! It's 11.00am here in Mexico City, and the birds are singing, the sun is shining and the British colonial forces have left Basra Palace.

There is no word yet on the fate of the collaborators, so it is unclear if they have been left to fend for themselves of not. Are the warbloggers worried? If they are they are keeping their fears to themselves.

A quick look around the warblogs shows that none of the fat-mouths who cheered so loudly back in 2003 has even mentioned the scuttle, still less those poor Harkis whose fate must be terribly uncertain.

What's the matter, lads? Feeling a bit peeved are you?
