Fresh thoughts on the Iraq War
John Robb has an interesting take on the Iraq War. He argues that the Iraqis will try to pen the Americans into their bases and thus prevent any offensive actions by them. Once that has happened, then it is only a matter of time before Iraqi forces are able to unite sufficient guerrillas in one place to overrun one of those bases.

Would that a base could be taken tomorrow.

I was figgering that would happen in Afghanistan before Iraq. But who knows? Sounds like a plan. But I still expect to see the Taliban overrun a NATO forward base sometime soon.

I wish the Iraqi Resistance luck. The sooner they get the imperialists out of their country, the sooner they can stop the puppeteered crazies from killing all the civilians.

If the imperialists really want to live -- all they have to do is put down their guns and take a court-martial like a man.
