World Cup Finals affect blog's readership
Here's a rum do. . . This blog has seen its readership drop by about three quarters since the World Cup Finals began. We used to average about 100 hits a day, and now The Exile gets about 25.

It will be interesting - to say the least - to see if things pick up again after the final whistle has blown.

A "World Cup Final" involves two teams. "World Cup Finals" of thirty two teams are ludicrous. The name is as daft as "Premiership" for the top league or "Championship" for the second, or "World Series" for an event always won by a team from the good old US of A

The Exile thanks HonestBern, formerly a member of the College of the Sacred & Indivisible Trinity, Oxford, for his pedantry.
