Murdock's little handboys
I have finally figured out what the other connection is between the various handy shandyists for war. The main connection, of course, is that they are all tossers, but I only realised what the other one was quite recently: None of them have any shame about quoting from The Times.
Yeah, that's the other connection. They all like quoting from the paper that is written, produced and distributed by scab labour. Now, it may be that The Times has an exclusive, in which case it should be commented on, with the caveat that this rag is a scab sheet and anything it prints should be treated with caution. The problem is that this is not happening: the stories are being carried elsewhere and no attempt is made to apologise for using scab sources.
So, here's New Labour's supporters reduced to their core values: they support imperialist wars abroad and scabbery at home. What a bunch they are.
