01 November 2005
Still the day before. . .
Markets like this are a traditional part of the Day of the Dead period. They open tonight and will stay open until the early hours of the 3rd November. People arrive to eat, chat and buy all the things they need for their families' alters.

The entrance to the market.

A bustling market at 11 o'clock at night.

I've known this woman for years - she's a friend of the wife. Every year she opens her stall at this time of year to sell hot snacks.
